My story

Back in 2021, I started off my career in growth marketing after an internship that went better than expected. But after 2.5 years in the role, I realised it didn't give me the career satisfaction I was looking for. I wanted to be able to communicate & connect with people more...

Which is why I eventually found myself in sales. And, while I was searching for this sales role, I started to learn full-stack development again after a nearly 4-year hiatus — and rediscovered just how much I enjoyed doing it.

So these days, I'm working on building a career that allows me to take advantage of these 2 things I enjoy doing.

Coding

Learning full-stack development on The Odin Project. Also built some projects in JS, CSS & HTML to apply what I know. No backend yet, but that's coming!

Sales

I've cold-called and cold-emailed hundreds of prospects so far as a SDR. Plus I love meeting & talking to new people at events.

Marketing Automation

As the PIC for such tools at my previous roles, I've set up systems & segments, built entire sequences, and monitored performance stats.

Writing

Emails, blog posts, web pages - writing has been an important part of all the roles I've worked at so far.

Languages

Proficiency in English? Native. Proficiency in Malay? Intermediate. Mandarin? Still learning that one...
